We’re looking for an energetic, hands-on leader to help run daily operations, inspire our team, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. In this role, you’ll oversee sales, staff management, inventory, and store performance while creating a positive, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Work 45-50 hours per week, including weekends, to manage all aspects of the store. This includes scheduling, ordering merchandise, managing inventory, and overseeing the kitchen, register, and floor operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Coach, mentor, and train staff to provide outstanding customer service. The Store Manager will also be responsible for hiring and firing employees when necessary.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth inventory management and timely deliveries.
  • Product Orders: Place orders, receive deliveries, and unload merchandise while ensuring the store is well-stocked and presentable.
  • Food Service: Oversee the pizza section and learn how to make pizzas, ensuring food quality and freshness.
  • Customer Relations: Provide a customer-focused environment and build positive relationships with customers and employees to enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Business Management: Manage bookkeeping and daily financial transactions, striving to meet sales goals and make the store profitable.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the store’s cleanliness, appearance, and organization, including stocking coolers, ensuring proper cigarette inventory, and managing lottery ticket sales.
  • Payroll Management: Monitor employee attendance, ensuring accurate clock-ins and clock-outs, and submit payroll information to the payroll department.
  • Software Utilization: Use Red River and other convenience store-specific software for managing store operations, inventory, and financial data.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience, especially in food/deli, convenience stores, fast-food outlets, or managerial roles, is highly desirable but not required.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet throughout the day is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills are crucial for effective team management.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a focus on store profitability.
  • A willingness to learn all aspects of the store, from kitchen operations to front-end duties.
